Lloyd Blaine Hammond Jr., who was astronaut of NASA and gulfstream test pilot, wore the black and red bezel copy GMT-Master n 1984 in his official portrait. During the two missions of STS-39 and STS-64, he flew twice on the Space Shuttle Discovery.
Leroy Chiao, Chinese American astronaut, was accepted by NASA. He became the astronaut in July, 1991. Leroy Chiao wore the black dial imitation GMT-Master during the four different space missions.
